Description: |
Perennial herb with a simple stem, 18-50 cm tall, growing from a woody rootstock. Basal leaves up to 22 × 5 cm, more or less broadly Ovate-lanceolate, greyish velvety on both surfaces on a long velvety petiole up to 10 cm long; stem leaves scale-like, up to 2 cm long, grey velvety at least below. Capitula forming a dense corymbose head. Involucral bracts brown at the base, golden-yellow above, 4-seriate, up to 6 mm long, lanceolate, acuminate. Florets yellow. |
