Description:
Shrubby, aromatic perennial herb, forming large colonies. Leaves linear-oblong to linear-lanceolate, 1-3 cm long, densely covered in silvery-grey felt, particularly below; apex mucronate; margin rolled under. Capitula in dense terminal clusters. Involucral bracts c. 5-seriate, shiny bright yellow, linear, spreading up to 4 mm long. Florets yellow.
Notes: It is particularly abundant in the greater Nyanga area, covering entire hill sides and valleys.
