Description:
Erect annual herb, upto 60 cm high. Leaves alternate, sessile, linear to oblanceolate, up to 40 mm long; margin entire to shallowly crenate-serrate. Capitula terminal on the branches, c. 10 mm long, together forming a lax panicle. Florets yellow, unpleasantly scented.
Notes:
Derivation of specific name: senegalensis: of Senegal
Habitat: In miombo woodland on Kalahari sand, mopane woodland, grassland, sometimes as a weed of disturbed and cultivated places.
