Description: |
Scandent annual or perennial herb, up to 3 m. Stems and branches often 4-angular. Leaves on fairly long petioles, narrowly oblong-ovate, more or less lobed at the basal angles; margin irregularly crenate-dentate. Inflorescences terminal. Capitula terminal, singly or in groups, orange-yellow with ray-florets c. 17 mm. See subsp. subsimplicifolia for comparison |
Notes: | Although earlier records are known from Katombora (West 3038, 1949) and Kazungula (Gilges 700, 1957) on the Zambian side of the Zambezi, there appear to be no known Zimbabwean records except those from the Eastern Division. |
