Annual herb up to 4 m. Leaves: petiole 2-11 cm; lamina triangular, unlobed, scabrid; base attenuate; apex acuminate; margin crenate or serrate. Peduncles 1.2 cm in diameter below capitulum. Phyllaries in 2 series. Rays 1.5-4.5 cm, yellow. Pappus of fused scales, with or without 2 longer setae. |

| Notes: | First noted on 17 June 2016, occurring in vast quantities on roadsides and surrounding areas by the Bulawayo Road near the suburbs of Kuwadzana and Dzivarasekwa. In 2019, a small colony of plants appeared in New Alexandra Park, and since then, there have been further records in that area and other northern suburbs of the City. |
