Planted in garden.Coro Breeze, Coronation Avenue, Harare.12Zimbabwe1731C3 C1549Tree, over 25 years old. Solitary palm. Base considerably swollen; trunk with fine rings with vertical cracks between; spines few. Leaves pinnate, pendent and twisted. Leaf segments in one plane; arranged unevenly along the leaf rhachis folded, facing downwards with central hairs beneath along the midrib pointing towards the segment tip.
