Description of the genus

Small trees with smooth bark. Leaves 3-foliate. Flowers yellow, densely packed in pendulous leafless racemes. Calyx bell-shaped, shortly two-lipped Fruit a pod.

Worldwide: 2 species native to southern Europe.
