Common names: Black mulberry (English)
Notes: Rarely cultivated in Zimbabwe. The species was offered for sale at the Forestry Commission in 1976 and was reported in Haavisto-Meier, H (2018) to be cultivated for its edible fruit in Dzivarasekwa.
