Glabrous erect herbs. Leaves 1-pinnate; leaflet margins regularly serrate. Bracts and bracteoles present and conspicuous. Flowers bisexual, borne in compound umbels. Petals yellowish to greenish-white, ± equal. Fruit glabrous, ovoid-cylindric to spherical, slightly laterally flattened, prominently ribbed. Worldwide: 14 species, widespread in the N hemisphere; also in Africa Zimbabwe: 1 taxon. |
