Description

Rifa Conservation Camp lies in the Hurungwe Safari Area on the banks of the Zambezi River. It is dedicated to conservation education and research on the Zambezi Valley ecosystems. Operated by the Zimbabwe Hunters Association and the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Management, Rifa Camp sponsors an environmental education program for children in primary and secondary schools to get hands-on experience researching aspects of biology, geology, animal behavior, ecology, botany, and wildlife conservation.
