General Information

Biography

Was employed as an entomologist in the Southern Rhodesian Department of Tsetse and Trypansomiasis control and Reclamation in the late 1950's and early 1960's.

During this time he was engaged in the survey and mapping of tsetse fly habitats, first in the Lower Sabi Valley and then in the Gokwe District of the Sebungwe. The results of this work were published in two valuable papers in Kirkia.

In addition he published a Hlengwe-Botanical Dictionary of Trees and Shrubs. Later he worked in the field of agricultural entomology studying crop damaging insects.
