Notes: Straggling shrub to 1.5 m. Woody with greyish, smooth bark. New growth green, stems and leaves closely covered with short silvery hairs, Leaves opposite or whorled, lanceolate with slightly irregular margins, shortly petiolate. Flowers solitary, terminal on short leafy side shoots; calyx tubular, lipped with 10 very narrow lobes like a fringe. Corolla tube much longer than the calyx with ten narrow lobes equal, white. Stemans and stigma concealed within the tube. Diameter of the flower approximately 3 cm. A faint unpleasant scent.
