Description:
Slender terrestrial, up to 1 m. Foliage leaves on a separate shoot, flowering stem with sheathing leaves along the stem. Inflorescence long and narrow, up to 30 cm, many-flowered. Flowers cream to pale lilac, ovary and rhachis dark purple-red. Lip fleshy, forming a hood with a narrow mouth. Spurs 10-14 mm, curving upwards and diverging from each other.
