Description: |
Small epiphytic herb, forming small colonies of closely spaced pseudobulbs. Pseudobulbs near spherical, often slightly broader than high, 10 - 25 mm in diameter. Leaves 2, fleshy, spreading, elliptic, up to 4 cm. Pseudobulbs and leaves are often coloured deep purple, particularly in more exposed situations. Inflorescence pendulous, borne from the base of the pseudobulb. Flowers fleshy, arranged along a swollen rhachis, small, straw-coloured, with maroon spots. |
