Description: |
Erect or procumbent perennial herb. Leaves simple or 3-foliolate, often on the same plant. Leaflets elliptic-oblong to ovate. All parts densely hairy. Inflorescences terminal and axillary. Flowers deflexed on long pedicels, blue to mauve, often with darker purple spots inside. Fruits in 3-6 articles; margin straight on one side, curved on the other. |
Notes: | The distinction between var. dimorphum and var. argyrea is no longer recognized. All material in the region is now considered as var. argyrea. |
