Description: |
Perennial herb, growing from a woody rootstock. Stems up to 70 cm. long, erect or decumbent, hairless; tendrils, if present, 1-3 cm long, often absent. Leaves elliptic to lanceolate, up to 6.5 cm long, mucronate at the apex; margin with only a few teeth in the lower half. False stipules present, oblong to lanceolate, 0.3-2 cm long. Flowers solitary or 2 together. Petals small or absent. Capsule ellipsoid, up to 1.5 cm long, light green. |
