Small to medium tree to 17 m. Leaves: petiole up to 4 cm; lamina 6-14 cm, obovate to elliptic, pubescent to almost glabrous; margin usually crenulate. Inflorescence of axillary spikes 3.5-10 cm. Flowers white, glabrous, unpleasant-smelling. Fruit 2.5-3 cm, oblong-elliptic, glabrous, red or greenish-yellow. |
