Description:
Erect or decumbent, much-branched perennial herb, often flowering in the first year. Flowers pink. Petals relatively small, 5-8 mm.
Notes: Could be confused with a species of Epilobium but the seeds lack the tuft of hairs characteristic of that genus.

Habitat: In moist disturbed places, often in shade.
