Common names:
Frequency: Common in the E Highlands; also recorded from outliers in divisions C and S (see below for a discussion)
Status: Native
Perennial herb, up to 70 cm. Leaves mostly basal, with a very prominently ciliate margin.
Notes: In Division C, recorded from Wedza Mountain and Makoni District and in division S from Victoria District (Mainwaring 3003)

Habitat: Occurring in montane grassland.
Altitude range: (metres) 1220 - 2440 m
