Description: |
Perennial shrubby herb, up to c. 80 cm tall, much-branched from the base. Stems spreading to sub-erect. Leaves opposite, ovate, ovate-lanceolate, up to c. 6.5 × 2.5 cm, usually hairy; margin with a few teeth to almost entire. Flowers in several axillary, 2-10-flowered clusters. Calyx lanceolate-deltoid, 7-9 mm long at flowering time, 10-toothed. Corolla up to 15 mm long, white, 2 lipped; upper lip with a fringe of bristly hairs at the apex; lower lip fairly narrow, 2-lobed; anthers orange-red. |
