Description: |
Perennial herb, up to 1 m. Leaves in a basal rosette with smaller leaves alternate along the stem, linear to narrowly lanceolate; margins entire to sparsely dentate. Flowers in a terminal raceme, dull yellow to orange, rarely purple. |
Notes: | Formerly, as Manulea rhodesiana, treated as an endemic to Zimbabwe. However, after Hilliard (1994), it is now viewed as a component of M. parviflora var. parviflora, which is widespread in southern Africa. |
