Description: |
Erect, procumbent or scrambling perennial, rarely annual herb. Stems up to 75 cm, hairless or finely hairy. Leaves linear-lanceolate to narrowly elliptic or ovate, 5-13 cm, hairless or slightly hairy; margin with teeth in the basal half. Flowers in cluster-like heads along most of the stems. Bracts lanceolate to narrowly ovate-elliptic, up to 6.5 cm with fine silky hairs and one to several bristles at the apex. Corolla pale blue to blue or mauve, 17-31 mm; lip obovate, 7-14 mm wide, distinctly 3-lobed, central lobe longest. |
