Description: |
Caespitose perennial with wiry culms up to 75 cm tall, arising from a knotty base; lower leaf sheaths persistent, chartaceous; leaf laminas 2–10 cm × 1–2 mm, the lowermost flat, the uppermost involute and filiform.Inflorescence of 1–5 digitate racemes, these 6–9 cm long with rhachis c. 0.5 mm wide.Spikelets 2.4–3.1 mm long; lemma c. 1.2 mm long, ovate, softly pilose on the nerves; palea softly pilose below. |
