Description:
Inconspicuous dwarf epiphyte with small pseudobulbs, spaced along a creeping rhizome. Leaves needle-like in a rosette crowning each pseudobulb. Flowers solitary on a long. thin stalk, arising from the base of the pseudobulbs, c. 1 mm in diameter, pinkish-red with straw-coloured petals. Lip mobile, recurved. Spur absent.
Notes: The Haroni subpopulation seems to be stable but the habitat in Honde is seriously threatened by agriculture. Recent searches have been unable to locate it.

Habitat: In riverine evergreen forest.

Worldwide distribution: Recorded once from Kenya and more recently in Rwanda; otherwise only in Zimbabwe in the Honde and Haroni Valleys.
