Description: |
This variety can be distinguished from E. ovalis var. bainesii by the shorter leaves and slightly smaller flowers, which have more purplish sepals, darker on the outside, and white petals, minutely speckled with blue. It is more common in South Africa and has only once been recorded in Zimbabwe, in the Mutasa District, Penhalonga (Kativu 394, 19-01-1989). |
