Perennial herb. Stems prostrate up to 60 cm long, covered in short, stiff, mostly spreading hairs. Leaves 3-foliolate; leaflets elliptic-oblong to elliptic-obovate, 1-3 cm long, appressed puberulous beneath. Flowers in fairly dense racemes up to 15 cm long; bracts 2-4 mm long, linear, sometimes exceeding the pedicel. Standard elliptic to subcircular, yellow, lined and aging reddish-brown, puberulous outside; wings as long as the keel; keel 7-9 mm long, angular with a narrow twisted beak. Pods subsessile, ellipsoid-obovoid, 7-9 mm long, pubescent, 6-8-seeded. |
