Description:
Bushy herb or shrub, 1‒3 m tall, with numerous hairy branches. Leaves 3-foliolate. leaflets silky pubescent at least beneath, petiole usually shorter than leaflets; stipules mostly 5‒25 mm long, oblong-falcate, caudate, very unequal-sided. Racemes terminal, laxly few‒many-flowered. Calyx 1.1‒1.5 cm long, brownish spreading hairy, upper and lateral lobes coherent, narrowly triangular, about twice as long as the tube. Standard subcircular, clear yellow, fading orange-red; keel abruptly rounded in the lower half, with a relatively short straight blunt beak, woolly towards the upper edge. Pod subsessile, broadly cylindric, with a dense shaggy coat of hairs.
