Description: |
Medium to large evergreen tree. Leaves imparipinnate with 5-7 alternate leaflets; leaflets dark green, leathery, almost without hairs, tapering at the apex. Petiole with a distinct swelling. Flowers in compact racemes, white, greenish in the centre, very showy when in full flower. Pods flat, creamy-grey, splitting explosively to eject red-brown seeds. |
