Description: |
Annual herb to 1 m tall, sparsely covered with long spreading white hairs. Leaves: petiole to 2.5 cm long; lamina narrowly oblong, serrate with minute gland-tipped teeth on the margin. Cymes axillary and in 3-branched umbels. Bracts leaf-like. Cyathia sessile with cup-shaped involucres; glands 4, 1 × 1.5 mm, transversely elliptic; lobes ciliate. Capsule 4 × 5 mm, with long spreading hairs, barely exserted on a short pedicel, longitudinal ridges absent. |
