Description: |
Perennial herb with annual stems from a large fleshy tuberous rootstock. Stems up to 12 cm high. Leaves sessile, linear-lanceolate, up to 11 cm long, midrib prominent beneath; margin entire. Inflorescences in 3-branched umbels with simple rays up to 6 cm long, sometimes cyathia solitary. Capsule obtusely 3-lobed, c. 6 cm long and 8 mm wide; pedicel up to c. 4 mm. |
Notes: | This variety differs in that it is more pubescent on the stems, cyathia and capsules. |
