Description: |
Small to medium-sized tree. Main branches horizontal; lateral branches grooved and angular; yellow sap present. Leaves opposite, narrowly elliptic to oblong, mostly c. 12 cm long, leathery, dull bluish to grey-green above, paler below, midrib and lateral veins conspicuous; margin entire; petiole grooved, wrinkled. Flowers solitary or in few-flowered clusters on short spur-branchlets along the older stems, yellowish-green. Fruits fleshy, subspherical, c. 2.5 cm in diameter, yellow to orange when ripe, edible. |
