Description: |
Tree with smooth white or pale brown bark; older branches dark red-brown; young branches crisply hairy. Leaves drying dark, 3–5-foliolate; leaflets elliptic to broad obovate, 10–20 cm long, median leaflet largest, hairless on both surfaces except for a few short hairs on the veins beneath, veins more or less raised on both surfaces; margin entire to remotely toothed; petiole 9–15 cm long, not grooved. Inflorescences axillary, 7–11 cm long, shortly crisped-pubescent; bracteoles linear, c. 0.5 cm long. Calyx obconic, 5-toothed, not gland-dotted, densely pubescent. Corolla pale yellow, 10–11 mm long, with scattered gland-dots, densely pubescent. Drupe obovoid, c. 1.4 cm long, rounded at apex, more or less enclosed in the enlarged calyx. |
