Sometimes semi-aquatic herb, up to 70 cm tall. Stems branched, hairless, without wings or very narrowly winged. Leaves, up to 9 × 1 cm, linear-oblong, hairless; margin entire or mucronate-dentate. Glomerules terminal, more or less spherical, c. 1 cm in diameter. |
