Description:
This straggly shrub may grow up to 3 m but is normally much smaller.
Notes: This species was only relatively recently described (in 1990). It makes quite a display in autumn when the whole plant turns bright red (see image 2).
Derivation of specific name: citrina: referring to the yellow bracts
Habitat: Montane grassland
