Perianth lobes cream with reddish down the middle on the outside, stamens reddish. Bulb 1' below surface, 6'' in diameter. Neck 2 in diameter tapering into bulb. .

sedge; Notes: Leafless sedge with yellow-green clusters of spikes. Diriko:- 'Shininge'. Collective name for many plants growing on floating islands of Typha Cyperus and many other plants.Quoted as new for S.W.A.in Mitteilungen der Bot. Staatssammlung Mnchen 111:521 (11:1960).
